- Education department’s initiative to prepare for board exams, focus will be on schools with low test results
In order to keep the board examination results of government schools better, the Education Department has started an exercise through ‘Prayas 2021’. Under ‘Prayas-2021’, work will be done for the academic upgradation of students studying in 10th-12th. For how the good numbers are brought in the board examination, a copy of the merit holder candidates in the previous board examination will be shown to the candidates who are currently appearing for the board examination. Last year the answer sheets of the candidates who bring good numbers will be uploaded on the departmental portal. Focus will also be placed on the schools whose examination results are below the prescribed criteria.
In order to improve the exam results of those schools, preparation will be done for extra children with extra class, model paper. Apart from this, the work of bringing second and third class students to the first class will also be done in this work plan. The Director of Secondary Education has assigned responsibilities for this from CDEO to PEEO.
Board result of 2591 schools was less than 60% last year, these schools will remain focused
In the education session 2019-20, the board result of 2591 schools in the state has been less than 60%. Students will be prepared by preparing a special action plan for these schools. For this, the block-wise education officers are entrusted with the responsibility. In the last year board exams, 420 schools in class 12th had less than 60% exam result. While the results of 2171 schools in the 10th has been less than 50%. This list includes 56 schools in Bikaner district. Block education officers have been directed to improve the results in the upcoming board examination by identifying schools with low test results in their blocks.
The syllabus will have to be completed before one month in the board exam
The 10th and 12th board exams will be held in the first week of May. Teachers will have to complete 60% of the course offline and online by one month before the board examination starts.
